BiographyRobert C. Jackson was born in Kinston, North Carolina in 1964. Prior to his full-time commitment to contemporary still life painting, Jackson worked as an electrical engineer, having received his bachelors degree from the University of Delaware, and as an assistant pastor in Maryland. Jackson began exhibiting in 1996 and since then his work has been included in numerous group exhibitions and has been the subject of solo shows at the Evansville Museum of Arts, History, and Science in 2012 and at the South Dakota Art Museum in 2014. Jackson is represented in the public collections of the Brandywine River Museum of Art in Pennsylvania, the New Britain Museum of American Art, and the Delaware Art Museum and is the author of the 2014 publication, Behind the Easel: The Unique Voices of 20 Contemporary Representational Painters.Person TypeIndividual
