Dennis Beach’s three-dimensional works of art reflect his dual interest in painting and sculpture. The artist creates forms that replicate repetitive shapes he observes in nature, such as arcs of rippling water, in a way that “involves the viewer with that same sense of wonder that nature provides.”
Beach received his undergraduate degree from Maryland Institute College of Art and his master's degree from the University of Delaware. His work has been featured in numerous group exhibitions throughout the United States and abroad, and solo presentations have been held at the Delaware Contemporary (November 2014–May 2015) and School 33 Art Center in Baltimore (February–April 2016). In 2018 Beach was the recipient of a Delaware Division of the Arts Established Fellowship in sculpture. In addition to private and corporate collections, his work is included in the collections of the Delaware Art Museum and Special Collections & Museums at the University of Delaware.
