Edith Conwell

American artist, 1895–1995
BiographyEdith E. Rose Conwell taught courses in weaving and ceramics at the Delaware Art Museum in the 1950s. She was the widow of George Macfeely Conwell, a mathematics professor, who died in 1969. According to her obituary, she studied weaving, ceramics, silverware, and jewelry-making in Athens, Georgia, before moving to Wilmington with her husband in 1951.
