Edith ConwellAmerican artist, 1895–1995

Edith E. Rose Conwell taught courses in weaving and ceramics at the Delaware Art Museum in the 1950s. She was the widow of George Macfeely Conwell, a mathematics professor, who died in 1969. According to her obituary, she studied weaving, ceramics, silverware, and jewelry-making in Athens, Georgia, before moving to Wilmington with her husband in 1951.
