Norman Sasowsky

American artist and art historian, born 1931
BiographyNorman Sasowsky studied at the Art Students League with George Grosz and Reginald Marsh and received his bachelor's and master's degrees from the City College of New York and his Doctor of Education from New York University. Sasowsky is considered the authority on the work of Reginald Marsh, having catalogued the estate and advised on numerous exhibition and publication projects of the artist’s work. Sasowsky's subjects include the figure and nature, and his style ranges from expressionistic to symbolist.
