James Horsey Fincken

Fincken was a printmaker, born in Bristol, England. He was active in Phildelphia, where he was a member of the Philadelphia Sketch Club, the Philadelphia Society of Etchers, and the Philadelphia Print Club. A prolific printmaker, Fincken's style ranges from atmospheric to highly detailed. He provided advice on etching to John Sloan.
