BiographyRosamund Wolff Purcell is fascinated with the intersection between art, science, and history, and she often finds her subjects in the basements and attics of natural history museums. Purcell is equally engaged by the collectors and eccentric classification systems they devise for their arcane objects. She is the author of Bookworm and Owls Head and collaborated with paleontologist Stephen Jay Gould on the book Finders, Keepers: Treasures and Oddities of Natural History.
