Thomas George
American painter, draftsman, printmaker, 1918–2014
George has had numerous solo retrospective exhibitions, including a 2005 show at the Princeton University Art Museum, and exhibited for twenty years at the Betty Parsons Gallery in New York. The Delaware Art Museum hosted solo shows of George's work in 1971 (Norway series) and 1975 (images from China). His work is included in private, corporate, and public collections, including the Museum of Modern Art, New York, the Whitney Museum of American Art, and the Princeton University Art Museum.
