BiographyBill Scott was born in Bryn Mawr in 1956 and studied at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts from 1974 to 1979. Scott was a student of Quita Brodhard, Jane Piper, and Joan Mitchell, and his work aligns with the abstract colorist tradition. In addition to being included in numerous exhibitions and public collections, Scott is a frequent contributor to Art in America and artist exhibition catalogues.
