Susan Wilson

American artist, born 1943
BiographySusan Wilson is known for her use of clay and ceramics to tell stories and to activate emotions. She studied with Victor Spinski at the University of Delaware and with Pat Lay at Montclair State University, where she earned a master's degree in art. She has taught at the Academy of St. Elizabeth in Convent Station, NJ and County College of Morris in Randolph, NJ, and received the 2017 Juror's Prize from the Hood Art Museum at Dartmouth College. Her work is in the collections of the Delaware Art Museum, Renwick Gallery, and Montclair State University.
