Ernest Fiene

American artist, 1894–1966
BiographyFiene was an American graphic artist best known for his prints of New York City. Born in Germany, he moved to the United States, settling in New York by 1914. He studied at the National Academy of Design and the Art Students League. A successful printmaker and illustrator, he taught at the League and at the Famous Artists School in Westport, Connecticut.
