BiographyIllinois native Rollin Kirby worked as a cartoonist for several New York newspapers including the New York Mail, the New York World, and the new York Post, becoming the nation's primary political cartoonist after World War I. He was the first ever winner of the Pulitzer Prize for Editorial Cartooning, and went on the win the award a total of three times.
