Bernard Felch

American artist, 1925–2008
BiographyBernard Felch was a local artist whose site-specific, carved brick walls can be found in private and public spaces throughout Delaware and Pennsylvania. Felch received his undergraduate degree from Williams College and his Masters in art from the University of Delaware. He taught at The Tatnall School and was a fixture in the regional art community throughout his lifetime. The artist is best known for his brick carving but also created and exhibited drawings, paintings, ceramics, and wood sculpture.
