June Baskin

American artist and educator, 1921–2007
BiographyDr. Baskin was the Supervisor of Art for the Williamsport Area School District. She graduated from Kutztown University; received her MFA from Syracuse; and her PhD in Education from Pennsylvania State University. She was an exhibiting printmaker and bookbinder. In 1969, she printed an edition of John Sloan’s etching plate, Woman with Hand to Chin, 1913, which accompanied the special edition of Peter Morse’s catalogue raisonné of Sloan’s prints.
