Joe Zucker
BiographyJoe Zucker studied at the Art Institute of Chicago and received his Masters in Fine Art in 1966. His first major solo exhibition was at the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis in 1968. He then moved to New York, taught at the School of Visual Arts, and exhibited regularly at Bykert Gallery and Holly Solomon Gallery. Zucker’s paintings were included in the Whitney Museum of American Art’s 1978 New Image Painting exhibition as well as the Whitney Biennial in 1977, 1979, 1983, and 1995.
