Garry Knox Bennett

American artist, 1934–2022
BiographyGarry Knox Bennett attended the California College of Arts and Crafts in Oakland from 1959 to 1962 and worked later as a metal sculptor. Primarily a self-taught studio furniture maker, Bennett often combined wood with industrial materials such as aluminum, glass, and plastic laminates. His furniture forms reference historical arts and crafts movements and incorporate unique materials and designs.
