Judith A. Schwab

American artist, born 1935
BiographyJudith Schwab is a central figure in the Wilmington art community, having received her master of fine art degree in sculpture from the University of Delaware in 1986 following her undergraduate degree from Kean University in 1975. And artist, educator, and curator, Schwab has received emerging and established artist grants from the Delaware Division of the Arts and curated the exhibition, Women Collared for Work, that toured the east coast of the United States from 2009 through 2011, including a 2010 presentation at the Delaware Art Museum. Schwab's paintings and multimedia assemblages explore her interest in the environment and equality.
