Jon Redmond
BiographyJon Redmond was born in 1965 in West Chester, Pennsylvania. He received his undergraduate degree from West Chester University in 1986, a certificate from the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts in 1991, and his master of fine arts degree from the University of Delaware in 2003. Redmond has been exhibiting in the greater Philadelphia area since the early 1990s and has received awards and fellowships including the Thomas Eakins Memorial Prize, a Delaware Division of the Arts fellowship, and awards from the Plastic Club in Philadelphia. The artist has taught at the Delaware Art Museum, the Chester County Art Association, and the University of Delaware, and his paintings are in the collections of the Delaware Art Museum, the University of Delaware and numerous corporations throughout the Mid-Atlantic.
