BiographyLinda Sokolowski completed her bachelor's degree at Rhode Island School of Design in 1965 and obtained her master's degree in printmaking at the University of Iowa. In 1971, she joined the faculty at Harpur College at Binghamton University, where she became the head of printmaking. Sokolowski's paintings and monotypes are influenced by her appreciation for the natural and built environment and her trips to the American Southwest, Egypt, Peru, and Mexico, among other destinations.
