Polish artist, illustrator, 1883–1934
BiographySkoczylas studied at the School of Fine Arts in Poland. He experimented with many printmaking techniques but is best known for his woodcuts. His work is influenced by Polish folk art and he frequently found his subjects in Polish legends and the lives of Polish saints.
