American etcher, 1882–1978
BiographyActive in Philadelphia, Gross studied at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, where she won the Mary Smith Prize. She exhibited nationally, at the Art Institute of Chicago and the Corcoran Gallery, and at the Paris salon. In 1961, the Woodmere Art Gallery hosted an exhibition of her paintings.
