Label TextToccata is an example from a series of abstract photograms Diane Neumaier began creating in 2003. Photograms are made using a camera-less technique by placing objects on photographic paper and exposing it to light. Her early photographs from the 1970s portray images of women and domestic life while this recent series explores color, shape, and light.
