Robert Richfield
BiographyRobert Richfield is known for his multi-paneled photographic compositions inspired by assemblage. After studying with Harry Callahan and Aaron Siskind at RISD, Richfield worked as Siskind’s assistant before forming his own practice. In more recent years, Richfield has expanded his range of subject matter to include interior and exterior scenes; his choice of media now includes digital as well as traditional film photography. His works are in numerous collections, such as the Art Institute of Chicago, the J. Paul Getty Museum, and the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.
