Constance Hennessy Cone

American photographer and printmaker, born 1949
BiographyConstance Cone received her undergraduate degree from Vassar College in 1970 and spent the first half of her career as a photographer. In the early 1990s, she received her master in fine arts degree from the University of Pennsylvania, having shifted her focus to painting and printmaking. She describes herself as "a landscape artist with a healthy dose of the abstract thrown in," and her paintings are inspired by the work of the British poets who served in World War I.
