BiographyBorn in Columbia, Missouri, Rowland Elzea obtained his bachelor’s and master's degrees from the University of Missouri. In addition to serving as the Curator of Collections, Associate Director, and Chief Curator at the Delaware Art Museum—with a focus on the Pre-Raphaelite collection—Elzea was an accomplished painter, having studied in New York.
