Jonathan Kaplan

A mainstay of the ceramic art world for over forty years, Jonathan Kaplan earned degrees from the Rhode Island School of Design and Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville and has earned recognition as a potter, designer, and writer for craft publications. His style is known for its diverse range of colors and textures, influenced by principles of architecture and geometry. He is the curator of Plinth Gallery in Denver, Colorado, and is represented in the permanent collections of the American Museum of Ceramic Art, Delaware Art Museum, and the Rhode Island School of Design.
