Gaar Campbell Williams
BiographyGaar Williams grew up in Richmond, Indianna. He studied at the Cincinatti Art Academy and the Chicago Art Institute. He worked as a cartoonist for the Chicago Daily News, the Indianapolis News, and the Chicago Tribune. Known as the "Hoosier Cartoonist" Williams work mainly consisted of small-town scenes of the bygone Victorian Era of his childhood.
