Thomas Kekic

American artist and teacher, 1943–1986
BiographyThomas Kekic is known as a glass artist and teacher. After earning degrees from Kent State University and the Pratt Institute, he helped inaugurate the Rochester Institute of Technology's glass department and co-founded the Glass Art Society. He participated in the renowned traveling 1973 exhibition "American Glass Now," which was shown at the Renwick Gallery, the Toledo Museum of Art, and the American Crafts Council, among other venues. Kekic operated his own glass studio in Canandaigua, New York.
