Clara Tice

American illustrator, 1888–1973
BiographyA student of Robrt Henri, Clara Tice was a successful magazine illustrator. With Henri, she helped to organize and fund the 1910 Independents Show. In the early 20th century, Tice was at the heart of the bohemian artistic community in Greenwich Village, as well as being a member of the Duchamp-Arensberg circle of modernists uptown.
