Carl Vincent Williams

American artist, born 1951

BiographyA native of Wilmington, DE, Williams studied art with Percy Ricks at Bayard Middle School and with Robert C. Moore at Howard High School. He graduated from Delaware State University in 1974 and taught in Delaware public schools until his retirement in 2015. In 1976, Williams co-founded the artist Collective Points of Juxtaposition, which continues to present group exhibitions throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic.
