Label TextMedieval designs were inspirational in all aspects of the Arts and Crafts Movement, the first vestiges of which are found in the two chairs designed by William Morris and Dante Gabriel Rossetti in this gallery. This chalice clearly reflects the style of the Middle Ages, bringing to mind sumptuous banquets in great tapestry-decorated dining halls.
