Label TextIn this postcard to John Sloan, Everett Shinn made fun of his friends' aggressive promotional campaign--which began well before the exhibition even had a venue--suggesting that they parade up Fifth Avenue with their paintings. In the parade, Shinn (the first parader on the left), George Luks (second from left), and Robert Henri (in a black coat and broad-brimmed hat) are recognizable.
