Label TextWalter Stewart was a student of Frank Shoonover and worked with him on several projects, including a 1927 edition of Mark Twain's Life on the Mississippi, for which Walter Stewart provided black and white illustrations, and Schoonover the cover and frontispiece. One critic praised Stewart's work as "imaginative and realistic."
