Label TextGeorge Howard was an early patron and friend to Edward Burne-Jones and other members of the Pre-Raphaelite circle. He was also a practicing artist, best known for his association with the "Etruscan School" of landscape painters guided by Giovanni Costa. This sketch is a poignant and personal record of the friendship between artist and sitter.
