Label TextRafael Ferrer’s earliest works combine Process Art with minimal and conceptual art practices. Beginning in the late 1970s and early 1980s, Ferrer began to explore figurative painting focused on life in Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic. The paintings, such as Desnudo, combine generalized human forms with expressionistic colors and backgrounds.
