Label TextCabell created this fictitious scene from the lives of two 15th-century monarchs. The French Princess Catherine of Valois, living in a convent, hears activity beyond her walled enclosure. She climbs an apple tree and spies a handsome stranger who says he is a minstrel, though he is actually the English King Henry V on a military mission to conquer France. They fall in love but must live through political and dynastic maneuvers before Henry reveals himself and makes her Queen Catherine of England.
