Barbara Schwinn Jordan

American illustrator, born 1907

BiographyAfter studying art in New York and Paris, Barbara Schwinn Jordan began her career as a fashion artist for department stores, which led her to assignments at Vogue and McCall's. She also illustrated for Collier's and The Saturday Evening Post. Later she was well-known for portraiture.
