Oscar Eduardo de Paz
American artist, born 1982
Following his academic pursuits, he merged his interest in social and environmental justice with his artistic practice. De Paz uses art as a means of critical inquiry and his own experiences of injustice as a starting point. Through symbolic representations, he constructs emotive narratives that draw attention to the negative impacts of capitalism on vulnerable populations.
