Label TextArchibald Knox’s designs often reflect the designs of the ancient Celtic stone crosses of his native Isle of Man. This Biscuit Box, the equivalent of an American cookie jar, is an example of the “Tudric” pewter “line” made for Liberty and Company at the turn of the century. Here, Celtic motifs have been merged with more organic elements to create a softer, rounder design.
