Label TextArchibald Knox’s designs often reflect the designs of the ancient Celtic stone crosses of his native Isle of Man. The entrelac, or Celtic knot forms at the center of this piece, creates the two peacock-like wings of the bird whose head is delineated in gold beneath. Many of Knox's designs were sold through Liberty and Company in London.
