Label TextThe individuals in this etching (left to right) are Robert Henri, Linda Henri, Dolly Sloan, and John Sloan. The Henris and the Sloans often spent evenings drawing and reading together. When Henri's wife died suddenly in 1905, Sloan memorialized their friendship in this etching.
