Label TextIn this story, Soulen depicts an antique fire engine (nicknamed Torrent) and its operators in historic costume at a county fair, just at the moment when the crew is suddenly called on to fight a fire in an exhibition tent. Soulen had a preference for brilliant color and worked in full color even when his illustrations would be published in black and white.
