Label TextIndiana-born Walt Louderback studied at the Art Institute of Chicago. He illustrated fiction for Cosmopolitan, Good Housekeeping, Hearst's International, and other popular magazines, as well for anthologized book versions of similar literature. The limited colors in this illustration are typical for the period, when color reproduction - because of its expense - was often reserved for covers.
