Label TextThis pot is an example of one of many pieces sold by the London department store, Liberty and Company. Liberty’s did not make their own ceramics but instead commissioned potteries to create for them. The artists were never credited and are often difficult to accurately identify today. We know that this vase was produced by Wardle and Company of North Staffordshire, although the identity of the individual (s) who made it remains a mystery.
