Label TextFrom an early age, Winifred Sandys and her sisters received artistic training from their father, pre-Raphaelite artist Frederick Sandys. Winifred focused on miniature painting, often making copies of her father’s paintings. Frederick Sandys painted three known versions of St. Dorothy in 1904. Winifred's copy in miniature was created the same year.
