Label TextThe Salon des Cent, or The Salon of the One Hundred, was a commercial art exhibition in Paris that sold posters, prints, and reproductions of art to the general public at reasonable prices. It became known for showcasing the works of contemporary graphic artists. The salon held exhibitions until 1900. Many of the posters advertising the Salon's exhibitions have themselves become collectors' items.

Georges de Feure was a painter, and theatrical and industrial designer. His posters are distinguished by the sinuous lines and floral motifs of Art Nouveau.
