Label TextHenri Meunier was a Belgian Art Nouveau printmaker, illustrator, bookbinder and poster designer. He participated in the lively graphic arts scene of Paris, where his prints appeared in portfolios sold by subscription.Opened in 1878 in Brussels, the Cirque Royal was a massive theater capable of seating 3500 attendees for elaborate spectacles, including nautical and equestrian presentations. The poster advertises a concert by well-known violinist Eugène-Auguste Ysaÿe.
