Label TextOn the Kansas plains, this woman is leading her horse Pronto, when men in a covered wagon mockingly accuse her of horse thievery. Unintimidated, she offers them food and shelter if they follow her home. The men, impressed by her bravery, "cease(d) to be amused" and accept her hospitality.
