Label TextDavid Mabb is well known for his interest in the 19th-century designer, William Morris. In this work, the artist has printed a textile design by Russian Constructivist artist Luibov Popova over a Morris wallpaper design. While both artists embraced avant garde ideals, the design aesthetics—Morris' floral patterns and Popova's machine-inspired geometric forms—vary greatly.
