Label TextWilliam Morris (1834–1896) was a poet, a socialist, a printer, and a designer of elegant furnishings. Baskin particularly admired him as a "designer for cloth, paper, and books." Morris founded the Kelmscott Press, which printed fine books in limited editions, as Baskin did at the Gehenna Press.
